Princess Slush Punch

When it came time to decide the menu for Hayden's Birthday Party, I knew I wanted to have "Princess Punch" - a recipe that I came across on Pinterest. This is not that recipe {ha!} Upon further examination, the punch got horrible reviews so I didn't end up following it... I loved the name though, so I went ahead and stole it! This recipe is a modified version of another recipe that got much better reviews, and I got tons of compliments so I think it's a winner!

Princess Slush Punch
PREP TIME 20 min  FREEZE TIME 8+ hours YIELDS 2 punch bowls

Ingredients:
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2, 3oz packages strawberry Jello mix
  • 1, 46oz can pineapple juice
  • 2/3 cup lemon juice
  • 4 cups orange juice
  • 2, 2-liter bottles Sprite {or similar}

Directions:
Bring water, sugar, and jello mix to a boil in a large saucepan. Boil for 3 minutes, then stir in pineapple, lemon, and orange juices. Divide mixture into 2 separate containers and freeze at least 8 hours.

Just before you're ready to serve, combine the contents of 1 container with 1 bottle of the Sprite or similar carbonated beverage in a punch bowl and stir until slushy. Repeat with remaining portions as needed.

  1. This looks so good! I might have to use this for my son's first birthday...though I think I might use blue raspberry, just so it's a more boy color :)
