Gluten Free {Crockpot} Sausage & Spinach Soup

This week we returned from our little mini-vacation to discover we didn’t have much food on hand. Freezer meal to the rescue! We doubled the recipe on prep day, so we have another waiting for us at some point… one batch makes quite a bit though!

Ingredients
  1. 1/2 lb carrots, sliced
  2. 1 onion, diced
  3. 1 can white kidney beans
  4. 1 bundle chopped spinach
  5. 24 oz spaghetti sauce
  6. 1 lb ground sausage, cooked
  7. 4 cups fat free chicken broth
To Freeze
  1. Label Ziplock Freezer bag {I like to put cooking instructions on bag so I don't have to find them later!}
  2. Add all ingredients except the broth to bag, remove as much air as possible, and seal.
  3. Freeze: I like to store my freezer bags upright so the contents freeze in sort of a rectangular shape and can go straight from freezer to crockpot
To Cook
  1. Add contents of bag + the 4 cups of chicken broth to crockpot
  2. Cook on low 6-8 hours
