Lately {and by lately I mean pretty much since we’ve gotten married – 2.5 years ago :)} Wes has been asking me to come up with a cleaning routine that we could repeat on a weekly basis. So today I finally utilized my photoshop skills and made us up a pertty little weekly calendar.
I couldn’t decide how much I wanted to make “official” and how much to leave open since we always have a variety of things going on {like everyone else in the world lol.} So I ended up making a basic list for each day of the week and leaving a space open to write down important notes for each day in case we need to rearrange a little bit.
I used a frame we already had {the same type that I used for my Fishy art} and I love how it turned out! Now we can use our dry erase marker to change up our notes each week. Yeay π
My evil printer cropped off the ends grr… |
I also made blank & divided blank versions in case anyone else wanted to try one for themselves:
Love this. This is actually something that I've been planning on doing, but I don't have photoshop or time to try and work it out, ya know? So I will be printing this out…. when our printer works. :p See how my life is going?
Well like I said it took me over 2 years to get around to coming up with this, so I'd say you're doing just fine π Glad I could be of assistance! I feel your printer pain… mine still prints… just not always how I want it to :-/
I'm also super jealous of your date night. :p
That is by far the cutest cleaning schedule I've ever seen! Makes cleaning seem fun! π

π To be quite honest I just wrote that on there to make it look pretty haha. Maybe we actually should go on one…
aww thanks! It definitely seems a lot less overwhelming when it's broken down like this… When I finished it didn't seem like there was enough each day! I guess that's the point π
Breaking down the cleaning is so smart. I try to do it all in one day and then I am exhausted and pissed off when I'm done. I'm definitely going to use this.
Awesome. Yeah that's pretty much how it went with us. We let everything pile up, tried to get it all done over the weekend, and by the end of it Wes is always annoyed and asking me to come up with a routine lol – so we'll see how this goes!
well i've managed to live 63 years without one, but probably 50 of those i needed one, so thank you!!!Β love the idea of being able to make notes on it……….and i think this format is wonderful for other things that you need to do regularly, appointments, whatever……..Β Β (hmmm….may be great for gift giving occasions too!Β who wouldn't want something like this with so many uses.Β You need a little store:)
hehe – it's pretty handy dandy! And your house always looks perfect π
Thanks so much for you printable chore chart . I was looking everywhere
for a cute looking chart. I have started my girls doing this, and it
helps to keep them on track with what they are suppose to do each week.
Β That's awesome! It definitely helps to break it down π
Thank you so much for the cute chart! What size frame did you use?
Thanks! π
Is the pdf still available for this? I can't seem to locate the download on your page. Thanks π
