Upon hearing the news that their baby had died during a routine ultrasound, Michelle Duggar‘s immediate response was to quote Job 1:21. I was shocked at how she instantly praised God in even the most unimaginable of circumstances and it really challenged me personally. Since seeing that episode, the verse comes to mind quite often now: whether going through good times or bad, or even when things just don’t seem to be going according to our plans – God is always in control and He always deserves praise.
