“Inspiration Friday”: Chocolate Desserts

As I’ve gotten myself deeper into the world of blogs, I’ve begun to notice a trend on a few blogs: having a “theme” day. The ones that come to mind are Expecting the Unkown‘s “{Oh how Pinteresting Wednesday}” and most recently House Four‘s “Thankful Thursday”. I really like the idea of just stepping away from the “normal” type posts and writing about the things that are inspirational to me currently or for the future – just another little way of peaking into my mind :). Soo I am now going to {attempt to} start doing Inspiration Fridays {kind of funny that it comes right after the Wednesday & Thursday ones I just mentioned, but it’s really just because today happens to be Friday!!}

For today’s post I thought I’d keep it fun and show some of the recipes I’ve been lusting after that relate to chocolate {I’m planning on making some cream cheese frosting brownies tonight, so that’s what’s on my mind!}

My mouth is watering just looking at all of these… I think I like chocolate way too much for my own good 🙂

Are there any other bloggers out there that do “theme” days?? I’m thinking this is going to be fun… we shall see!

  • I'm a handmade living blogger but I try to publish a new recipe every Wednesday. It gets me to cook at least once a week and learn to make new things. I love it!

    Feel free to visit http://buttonwoodcottage.blogspot.com. I'm looking forward to your Inspired Fridays!

  • Those all look so good! I am starting to do "Links I'm Lovin'" on Fridays now, a weekly wrap up of stuff I found interesting/funny over the week. I love the themes that a lot of blogs are doing now, including your Inspiration Fridays!

  • Kasey, That's awesome! I will definitely check that out 🙂

    By the way, are you commenting from your phone?? I think I've seen you leave other comments on my blog & I keep getting emails that I have comments but when I click the link to reply it takes me to the mobile version of my blog. And I can only see your comment here and not on my regular site. So if you don't get a response from me, there's something weird going on there!

  • I disabled the "mobile" version of my blog & it looked like the commenting section was working there?? sooo we'll see if that helps
