Inspiration Friday: Organization

I would legitimately love to be someone’s professional organizer!
But I guess for now I should probably start with my own house? Yeay, my husband would prooobably appreciate that. 🙂 Here are some organization ideas that I would totally love to implement:
Closet/Bedroom:
“Fix it Kit” {Martha Stewart} Currently all this stuff is jammed in a box

“shoes, shoes, shoes” {This is Glamorous – photo by Lund}

Cutlery tray for shorter necklaces & bracelets {Mini Manor Blog}

Pullout Hamper
Built in hamper {BHG}

Open closet, clear display bins. Love. {The Container Store}

Bathroom:
“Crafty Bathroom Organizer” {Jon @ It’s almost genius} – keeps stuff accessible & off the counter!

hooks inside cabinet for dryer/flattener {Imperfect Homemaking}

bathroom storage
This would be super cute in a guest bath {BHG}

this would give us some much needed cabinet space! {Rustic Living}

Cabinet
door panel storage {BHG}

Hanging Baskets!
hanging/tiered baskets {shelterness}

Kitchen/Cleaning
measuring conversion chart on the inside of cabinet
hanging measuring cups & spoons w/conversion chart {Infarrantly Creative}

Utility Matters
I clearly have a love for behind the door storage 🙂 {BHG}

organize, label, storage, kitchen, pantry, declutter
I should really do this soon: calendar & magnetized food categories {BHG} <– printable!

freezer organization - I'm in love
pretty freezer storage {BHG}

broom storage cabinet
this is beyond brilliant {Home Depot Design Center}

Kate is a proud mama to six amazing little sweeties {through birth + adoption} and wife to the best husband a girl could ask for! She considers herself blessed to be able to stay home with the kids, and is just starting to get into the world of homeschooling. In her "spare-time" she enjoys sharing many of the projects, stories, and gluten-free recipes that are a part of their every day lives!
  • After looking at all of that I realized my house is mess! I need to implement some of these. Living in a old house = no storage space, so I'm always trying to think up ways to maximize what we have. I'm really loving the bathroom storage idea with the buckets.

    I love this post. Apparently we should organize each other's houses since I love organizing but apparently suck at doing that in my own house. :p

  • One of our main issues is that we are renting. Our house is beautiful, but we can't just go screwing/nailing on cabinets and walls whenever we want! I probably just need to be more creative in some of my "storage solutions" 😛

  • Exactly! I feel ya my dear 😉

  • Kasey March

    Love the built in hamper. We have a wire version in my bathroom but the canvas is much nicer on the eyes.

    PS Check your email I sent you an invitation 🙂

  • Got it! 🙂 aaand i replied lol

  • Great post Kate! I love the cutlery tray idea for hanging jewelry…I need that!
    I need all of these organizing solutions actually. And the extra time to implement them! lol

  • When I was in college, I worked as a personal assistant to a woman who owned an organizing business. It was amazing 🙂 Such fun work, but she was a bit crazy.

  • lol – yes, the extra time would be lovely!

  • haha – that sounds pretty fun 🙂

  • Love this…great ideas. I want it all and the shoes! Your "Inspiration Friday" segment is so clever…

  • Thank you! My shoes are currently in 3 different closets our house, so yeah – I'd love to see them all together like that!
